Ducati Release New Hypermotard 950 RVE

Ducati today announced the pending release of the new Hypermotard 950 RVE version.

Sure it’s largely a marketing exercise – with the standard version only receiving an up/down quick shifter to go with the new livery – but that livery!

Ducati’s media release states that:

“Wanting to transfer the same manufacturing quality of the concept bike from which it derives to the production motorcycle, it was necessary in the painting phases, to employ highly skilled labour, use very low thickness decals and adopt a particularly long and complex process. The result is comparable to that of an airbrushed bodywork”

And what a result! The Hypermotard 950 RVE is powered by the same twin-cylinder 937cc Testastretta engine as the standard version, which with its 114hp (84kW) at 9,000 rpm and 96Nm of torque, of which over 80% is already available at 3,000 rpm, is the perfect engine for maximum hooliganism.

The Hypermotard 950 RVE will be available in European dealers from July 1, so keep a look out.
